Terms of Use — Local Plus

Last updated: 6 October 2026 · Local Plus and Local Plus Business are made by KiraZone · support@kirazone.xyz

These terms are written to be read by the person using the app, not by a lawyer. Where a sentence could be read two ways, the narrower reading is the one we mean. They sit alongside the Privacy Policy, which describes what leaves your phone; this page describes what each of us is agreeing to do.

The short version

Local Plus Business is a till. Local+ is a place customers find shops. We provide the software. We do not sell the food, we do not deliver it, we do not employ the drivers, and we are not a party to anything you sell.

1. Who these terms are between

They are between you and KiraZone.

"Local Plus Business" is the merchant app — the till, the stock book, the reports. "Local Plus" is the customer app, which calls itself Local+ inside: it is where a published shop can be found and ordered from. "Local+" in these terms means that marketplace — the customer app and the shops published to it. Both apps are covered here.

If you use these apps on behalf of a business, you are agreeing to these terms for that business and you are saying you are allowed to.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and old enough for the app store you installed from.

2. Your account, and using the app without one

An account is optional for the till. Local Plus Business sells, counts stock and reports with no account and no internet connection. Logging in is what lets photo coins survive a lost phone, lets a second phone join the same shop, and keeps a copy of your shop in your own account (§3).

Ordering on Local+ needs an account, because an order has to reach a merchant. The customer app makes one for you the first time it is opened, with no name, no email address and no phone number. You can link a Google account to it on the Account tab, so that your orders follow you to another phone; it is optional, and ordering never needs it.

Keep your sign-in and your staff PINs to yourself. Anything done on your device with your PINs is treated as done by you. Tell us, from Help in the app, if you think somebody else has got in.

3. Your records are yours, and the backup is yours

Everything the till records — sales, stock, costs, expenses, staff, reports — is written to your own device.

While you are logged in, a copy of your whole shop is kept in your own account, so a lost phone is not a lost year. The server's rules let only your account read it, change it or delete it. More → Reports → Safe keeping → Remove the copy takes it out of your account, and logging out stops anything further being sent. On a shop with connected phones, a short summary of each sale also goes to the owner's phone; the Privacy Policy says exactly what.

You restore the copy yourself. More → Reports → Safe keeping → Restore from my account opens it as a new shop, never over the one you are using. We cannot restore it for you: only your account can read it.

If you are not logged in, we cannot recover your records for you. If the phone is lost, broken or wiped, and you have neither a backup file nor a copy in your account, the records are gone — there is nothing on our side to restore from. Local Plus Business can save a backup file at any time (More → Reports → Safe keeping → Save a backup); where that file is kept, and how often you make one, is your decision.

You own your data. We claim nothing in it.

4. Publishing a shop to Local+

Payment choice and order closure. After accepting a dine-in or delivery order, the merchant can ask for payment or choose Pay later. Pay later does not show a payment QR. A payment request with no confirmed payment and no pending customer payment claim can expire two hours after it was requested. A paid order can close automatically two hours after the merchant confirmed payment. Automatic closure is an order status; it does not prove that goods were handed over. These changes run during scheduled checks. An unpaid table or Pay later bill remains unpaid until the merchant settles it.

Publishing is off until you switch it on. When you do — and while your shop is verified and has a current plan (§7) — your shop's name, description and logo, its position on the map, the riel your till counts a dollar as, your opening hours, and the menu items you have chosen — their names, prices and photos — become visible to anyone: in Local+, and on your shop's menu page on the web. Your phone number joins them only if you switch on "Show this number to customers".

When you publish, you are telling us:

You can hide the shop again at any time, and it stops being visible — in Local+ as soon as your phone reaches our server, and on the web once the copy of the page kept for up to five minutes runs out.

You are the seller. An order placed through Local+ is a contract between you and your customer. We are not a party to it. We do not take a commission on it, we do not hold the money, and we do not decide whether it is accepted — you do. One rule is ours: an order nobody has answered two hours after it was placed is closed as unanswered, so that a customer is not left waiting for food that is not coming. Complaints about the food, the price, the wait or the refund are between the two of you — though we may take a shop that breaks these terms off Local+ (§5), and support can look at an order with either of you and explain what it shows (§13).

Before placing an order, customers must explicitly agree to the current Terms and can read the Privacy Policy at checkout. Local Plus provides software to make ordering directly from participating merchants easier. The merchant is responsible for its products and services, availability, fulfilment, payments, receipts and refunds. Order disputes are between the customer and merchant; contact the merchant first about those issues. Local Plus handles platform faults, privacy, security and abuse reports. This does not remove rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Ordering requires an internet connection and a merchant that accepts the requested service; submitting a request does not mean the merchant has accepted it.

5. What you may not do

Do not use these apps to sell anything you are not lawfully allowed to sell, to impersonate somebody else, to publish somebody else's photographs as your own, to harass anyone, to break into the service or another shop's data, or to work around a limit or a payment.

Do not use Local+ to publish a shop that does not exist.

If you do any of that, we may warn you; take your shop off Local+; stop your account placing orders, or close it; or stop providing the service — and where the law requires it we will report it.

A warning can come before a suspension. A warning to a shop says why, from a fixed list of reasons, and blocks nothing: the shop stays listed and takes orders as before. A warning, or a stop on ordering, can end on a date we set, and then ends by itself; taking a shop off Local+ and closing an account have no end date and are undone only by a person. The app tells the shop or the customer each decision is about.

We count; a person decides. For every published shop we count how its orders are answered, refused and called off and how it is rated, and the app shows each shop its own figures, in the Local+ tab. A count never decides anything: when one looks wrong, a person reads the orders, reviews and reports behind it before anything happens, and a shop is never shown who complained. The Privacy Policy says what is counted and what is kept.

6. Reviews, reports and moderation

Customers can review a shop, and either side can report a shop, a person, an order or the conversation on it, or a review. A report about one item on a menu is a report about its shop.

Reviews are the reviewer's own opinion. We do not write them, and we do not remove one because it is unflattering. We do remove reviews that break these terms — abuse, impersonation, or something that has nothing to do with the shop.

Where content is produced by an AI tool inside the app, you can report it from inside the app without leaving it.

A report gets no reply. It goes to moderation, and the app says so when it is sent. To ask us something, send a help request instead (§13).

You can ask us to look again at a decision about you. If we have warned your account, stopped it placing orders or closed it, or warned or suspended your shop (§5), the notice in the app that tells you lets you ask Local Plus to look again. Only the account a decision is about can ask — for a shop, the account that owns it, not its staff. You have 90 days from the decision to ask. You can ask once about each decision; a decision we change can be asked about afresh. Asking does not change the decision: it stays as it is until we change it, and the notice changes if we do. Support can look and explain; it cannot move money, refund anything, change an order or overrule a shop, and a request to look again is no different (§13).

7. Paid plans, coins, and who takes your money

Apple and Google take the payment, not us. Studio and web-menu subscriptions offered through an app store are charged to that store account and governed by its terms as well as these. Existing coin purchases and their recovery remain governed by the store used for that purchase. Photo coin packs and paid design packs are not offered in this rollout.

If a payment is reversed or a plan ends, the paid features stop; your records do not go anywhere.

8. Transport bookings

Where transport is offered, the driver is an independent operator. We do not employ drivers, we do not run a fleet, we do not dispatch anyone, and we take no commission on the fare. The fare and the platform fee are shown before a booking is confirmed. The ride is between the passenger and the operator.

9. What the software does and does not promise

We work hard to make the till correct, and the arithmetic is tested. Even so, the software is provided as it is. Check your own figures before you rely on them for tax, for a loan, or for a decision that matters. A till is a tool, not an accountant.

We do not promise the apps will be available without interruption, that a network feature will work where there is no network, or that every device will behave the same.

To the extent the law where you live allows it, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or losses that follow from using or not being able to use the apps. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be removed by agreement, and in some countries that is a great deal — those rights stand whatever this section says.

10. Our software stays ours

The apps, their design, and their code are ours. Using them does not transfer that. Do not copy, resell, or take the app apart to build a competing one.

Your content — your menu, your photos, your shop details — stays yours. By publishing to Local+ you give us permission to show it to customers, in Local+ and on your shop's menu page on the web, and to keep the copy of your shop's name, description and picture that a report about your shop needs (the Privacy Policy says for how long). That is all the permission is for, and the showing ends when you stop publishing.

11. Ending it

You may stop at any time: hide your storefront, delete your account from inside the app, ask us to delete it for you from Help or by email (the Privacy Policy says how we check that the account is yours), or remove the apps.

Deleting your account removes what we hold about you, including the copy of your shop in your account. What stays is somebody else's record, kept without you: a shop's record of an order you placed, with your name, phone number and address taken off it; the shop's own messages on that order; a review you wrote, which never carried your name; and that a report or a help request you sent existed, without its words. Our own record of any decision we made about your account stays too, as the record of what we did. The Privacy Policy lists each. Deleting your account does not delete the records on your own device, and it does not cancel anything a store sold you — that is done in the store account.

We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering a service. If we stop offering something you have paid for, we will say so in the app before it stops.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that affects what you are agreeing to, the app asks you again, in the app, the next time you publish your shop, place an order, write on an order or review a shop — and does not let you do it until you have agreed. The date at the top of this page changes with them.

13. Asking us for help, and questions

You can ask us for help from inside either app. In Local Plus: Account → Help. In Local Plus Business: More → Help. A help request is a conversation with us: our replies arrive in the app, and you can write back. The Privacy Policy says what we keep and for how long.

Support can look and explain. It cannot move money. A help request never marks an order paid, refunds it, cancels it or changes it, and support cannot accept, refuse or refund an order for a shop — those stay between the shop and the customer (§4). Coins are refunded by the store that sold them (§7). What we can do about a shop or an account that breaks these terms is what §5 says.

We may write to you first. If somebody asks us about an order you placed or received, we may open a help request to you about that order. It carries only what we write; we never pass on the other person's own words.

If we are waiting for your answer, we may remind you once; if you still do not answer, we mark the request solved, and writing in it opens it again.

If help requests are used to abuse us or to flood us, we may close one and stop that account opening new ones for 30 days. You can still reply in your other open requests, and ask us to look again at a decision about you (§6).

We do not promise how quickly we answer.
